Scorpius

Scorpius is one of the oldest known constellation, and a magnificent constellation of the zodiac, Alpha Scorpii (Antares / Rival of Mars) is a red supergaint about 300 times the diameter of sun !!!

The Mythology:
According to Greeks, The constellation of Scorpius is related to the death of the hunter Orion. According to one story, Orion wanted to kill all wild animals on earth. But earth goddess Gaia was not happy with Orion’s intention. So, she sent a giant scorpion to kill Orion, which stung Orion to death with its poisonous tail.

To this day, it looks as if the scorpion is always chasing after Orion. However it was placed on the opposite side of the sky so that Orion could never be harmed by it again.
